Enhancing the efficiency of goods transportation within ports is crucial, and innovative IT solutions are paving the way for substantial improvements.
PIONEERS consortium partners Infrabel and Port of Antwerp-Bruges are developing an IT platform that connects all stakeholders involved in freight transportation. This platform encompasses a range of IT tools, such as the Multimodal Inland Planner, the Rail Platform, and the Connectivity Platform. The main objectives are to achieve streamlined cooperation, foster enhanced communication and promote a modal shift to more sustainable modes of transportation.
