Mobility as a Service for a Better Port-City Accessibility

Barcelona city is a popular tourist destination, especially for cruise ship passengers during their stopovers. However, the cruise terminal is often perceived as isolated by tourists who are unfamiliar with the city transport options, leading many to rely on individual motorized modes.

To tackle these challenge, PIONEERS consortium partners RACC, Port de Barcelona and Mosaic Factor, are working on adapting and implementing the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions through the RACC CityTrips platform. This MAAS tool aims to provide easy access to various sustainable mobility services in the city with the final aim to ease the port-city accessibility especially for cruise ships passengers visiting the city by their own.
